NATURE CLUB
Fee: $100
Community
Honey of the Hive Nature Clubs meet for community time outdoors. We typically meet at a local nature preserve or garden. We grow to know these places intimately as we get acquainted with the flora and fauna and watch seasonal changes. We enjoy playground songs and games, brush drawing, nature lore, and nature challenges, and journaling, among other things. We also love unstructured, imaginative play and a little extra mother culture time. Our main goal is to give our children opportunities to freely explore God's beautiful creation.
NATURE & GEOGRAPHYWe explore nature and geography and model by-the-way learning with incidental discussions about whatever comes under our noses.
|
FREE & IMAGINATIVE PLAYWho doesn't love a good ramble?
Children have plenty of time for free, unstructured play. We occasionally provide items to aid imaginative play. |
MOTHER CULTUREMothers may discuss topics from Book Club, talk about homeschooling in general, or simply enjoy each other’s company. We encourage and model masterly inactivity.
